Richard T. Snodgrass is Professor and Galileo Circle Fellow in the Department of Computer Science, College of Science, at the University of Arizona. He is an ACM Fellow. Rick chaired the TSQL2 Language Design Committee and initiated the SQL/Temporal part of the SQL3 draft standard. His research interests include ergalics (the science of computing), temporal databases, query language design, query optimization and evaluation, storage structures, and database design.
