Simon Cozens (simon@simon-cozens.org) is a Perl programmer and author. He has released more than 100 Perl modules. His books include Beginning Perl, Extending and Embedding Perl, and the second edition of Advanced Perl Programming. He also maintained the www.perl.com site for O’Reilly for several years and was a columnist for the Perl Journal. His academic training is in Japanese, and latterly in missiology; he aims to work for the church in Japan in the future.
